So Strider had his 18 month check up last week. I can't believe he is 18 months. I am still pretty crazy about this boy and he is equally crazy about me. What can I say? We like each other.
He is doing super great. Healthy boy!
Weight: 29 lb 4 oz - 87%
Height: 34.25 inches - 94%
Head: 18.25 inches - 28%
Just to get an idea of how he compares to my other boys. Here are their 18 month stats:
Taegen:
weight 25 lbs 7 oz 50 - 75%
height 33 1/2 inches 75 - 90%
head 19 1/4 inches 75 - 90%
Kyler:
weight 22 lbs 11 oz 5 - 10%
height 31 inches 10 - 25%
head 17 1/2 inches less than 5%
Strider is bigger than they were at his age (except his head). I always love seeing the stats. I'm a little sad that Strider is no longer in the 90+% for his weight. I LOVED all his baby chub. He must be getting older. Darn.
* He is so super happy.
* He loves life.
* He adores his older brothers. Kyler and Strider have little hugging wars because they are both the same height and so they hug and see who tips over first. Then they giggle and do it again.
* He says a lot of words.
* He seriously says Thank you for everything.
* He is very sweet.
* He is a charmer and he has a great smile. I love his little dimple.
* He walks like a muscle builder because he walks with a total strut. He sticks his chest and butt out at the same time.
* When he "runs" he only swings his right arm.
* He knows all of his basic body parts.
* He loves kisses.
* He sleeps GREAT (knock on wood). I lay him in his crib and turn on a humidifier and give him his binky and a book and he is good to go.
* He is officially in nursery now and so far so good. He has cried a little bit but nothing too bad.
* He LOVES milk and prefers milk over any other drink. He loves chicken nuggets. He also loves goldfish crackers and pretzels.
* He is one happy boy who we like a whole lot.
Stridette and Saffron
Okay, so seriously, T & K are 4 1/2 and NEVER been in girl clothes. They have worn my make-up and shoes but not the clothes. Strider is almost 2 and NEVER been in girl clothes so I just HAD to take advantage of lil' Saffron's cute clothes. Plus, Strider looks oh-so-stinking-cute in these. My favorite is that his saggy diapers hangs below his ultra-immodest dress. LOVE IT!
Squishy baby butt (especially Striders) is so cute. And no, I did not pull his pants down. The fact that his diaper had 30 lbs of water in it might have had something to do with it. I was outside watching the boys and when I saw Strides bum I called my neighbor and she came over to check it out too. As time went on his thigh chub was squished out between his diaper and his ever drooping pants. Watching him walk and run was hilarious. We had a great time at his expense but he liked it too.

Having boys is really fun...especially when THEY want eyeshadow, mascara, blush AND lip stuff on. Good times.
We had some GOOD times with the beanbag and grandpa. The pics say it all. 
My baby is already 15 months old :(. Strider had his well-check yesterday and he is still holding his own. Here are his stats:
Matthew, Taegen and Kyler opened the presents and Strider just played with them.
Then came the cake...
Strider did not disappoint. He got cake EVERYWHERE. He loved it. He was eating it like crazy and laughing and throwing it. It was awesome. Loved it!

Strider and I were winterizing today. It's turned a little chilly so I thought it would be a good time to see if Strider had any winter clothes that would fit him. I opened up the tubs and wah lah....
I think Strider has enough clothes to make it through winter. Oh, the benefits of having twin older brothers are endless. That HUGE pile of clothes that Strider is playing on is ALL winter clothes for him. Now I just need to wash them and Strider is GOOD to Go!! 
Seriously, don't you think he is so freakin' cute. He is really into everything lately...and I mean everything. But he is still SO cute and happy and smiley (even if he's sick). He's such a GREAT baby that's growing up so fast. He's almost a year ya know? Isn't that crazy! My BABY BABY boy is almost a year. Darn.
but don't worry...Mommy can fix ANYTHING! 
A few weeks ago Strider figured out how to climb up the slide we have in our front room. Which is all fine and dandy...except once he gets to the top there is a little ledge thingy. Don't worry...after he fell a few times I out-smarted the 9 month old and put cushions at the bottom so he can fall all he wants without injuring himself. I know...I'm super mom!
My girlfriend is pretty much as in love with Strider as I am. Well...not really, but she LOVES his fat rolls too. Her husband was born in Germany and so for a few weeks she has really been wanting to put Strider in his lederhosen. Finally, we did it...and the result was absolutely WONDERFUL! Seriously, don't you just want to eat him. How cute is he? I love the squishy boobs and the chunky knees. Love Love Love it!
In case your wondering, I'm still completely obsessed with Strider and all his rolls and everything. He makes me smile. I wish my rolls and everything were as cute and lovable as his.
